1. Tape
Yes, tape! This is not the ideal method, but it can get you back on the water in a pinch. Duct tape or any strong waterproof tape will do. Be sure to cover well past the hole or crack to create a temporary seal.
2. Solar Rez / Glue / Silicone / Wax
Here, we’re simply waterproofing the board to squeeze in another session or two. These materials can help seal minor cracks, but they are not meant for long-term use or durability.
3. JB Weld / Bondo / Putty
This method provides a more structurally sound repair than tape or waterproofing solutions. While it can hold up for some time, it’s still not a permanent fix for larger cracks or breaks.
4. West System Epoxy
For a stronger and more reliable repair, West System epoxy is a great choice. When applied correctly, it creates a solid, waterproof bond that is much more durable than quick fixes. However, proper preparation and application are crucial for effectiveness.
5. Professional Fiberglass Repair
This is the most expensive method, but it is the best method. We provide a warranty on our eFoil Fiberglass Repairs so you don't have to worry about a bad fiberglass job or discoloring.
