What is an eFoil?
An eFoil is a type of hydrofoil board that is propelled by an electric motor. It uses a foil that is mounted beneath the board to lift it out of the water, allowing the rider to be in control of the board and glide across the surface of the water without the need for waves or wind.
Is it difficult to learn eFoiling?
It typically takes between one and two hours to learn to eFoil. The Lift eFoil provides ample space and volume to make standing on the board easy. Just like riding a bike, with speed comes more balance so as you plane the board becomes even more stable. Experience the sensation of controlled flight with eFoiling.
Is eFoiling dangerous?
Learning to eFoil is very safe. In every lesson, all students will wear a USCG approved life jacket and a helmet with radio communication. Your instructor will be next to you on their own eFoil at all times, talking with ease through the headset. You'll be taught to safely fall into the water, release the throttle and enjoy your eFoil experience! eFoiling is the safest and easiet way to be introduced to the feeling of hydrofoiling.
How fast can an eFoil go?
The Lift eFoil can travel at speeds up to 30mph.
Which board is best for me?
It depends on where a number of factors: height, weight, style of riding and more outlined in the board sizing guide.
How long does the eFoil battery last?
The Lift Light Battery lasts about 90 minutes and the Lift Full Range Battery lasts about 2.5 hours.
What is the eFoil warranty?
The Lift eFoil warranty is 2 years from purchase date.
What's the difference between an eFoil and a jetboard?
What should I bring for my eFoil Lesson?
We will provide everything you need to eFoil, but consider bringing sunscreen, a towel, water and snacks. Please wear an action sports appropriate bathing suit, if you need a wetsuit please request one ahead of time.
How deep does it need to be to ride an eFoil?
It’s best to have over 5 feet of water, the Lift eFoil mast is up to 32" long.
How much does the eFoil weigh?
The LIFT3 F eFoil weighs about 65 lbs and the LIFT4 eFoil weighs about 58 lbs.
